SLICES-Spain (https://www.slices-es.eu) is the Spanish SLICES national node, composed of two sites, one in Madrid (UC3M & IMDEA Networks): SLICES-Madrid (https://www.slices-madrid.eu) and one in the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). With a strong focus on Beyond 5G and 6G large infrastructures for research, services are becoming available for international researchers in the next following months.

At SLICES-Madrid, we provide access to a pool of 54 Echostar LoRa-enabled evaluation kits (EVKs) for use by European researchers. These kits include a radio module and an Integrated OEM EM2050 NUCLEO board STM32WB55 with an Arduino Uno R3 shield layout.

The EM2050-EVK is designed for system integrators to prototype and test solutions using the Echostar Mobile direct-to-satellite LoRa®-enabled IoT network. It offers a platform for easy integration with various sensors and applications, allowing testing in real-world scenarios on the network.
